4 FOOT SOAK RECIPES YOU CAN EASILY MAKE AT HOME
Doing an at-home spa weekend, which includes indulging in a foot soak, is one of my favorite self-care activities.
If you are feeling fancy, you can opt to buy foot soak in a bottle. There are a lot of products available in the market for these. If you go this route, it will still be cheaper compared to going to an actual spa.
Or you can do what I do, and use ingredients that you already have at home for your foot soak.
On top of the relaxation I get, it’s easy to prepare and costs me nothing, so what’s not to love?
MAKE USE OF ITEMS YOU HAVE AT HOME
If you will go the DIY foot soak route, make sure you are not allergic, or sensitive to the products that you will use.
Depending on the materials you have on hand, there are a number of combinations you can do to formulate your own foot soak. I’ve included 4 recipes in this post, based on the materials I have on hand at home. Each ingredient will give a different benefit.
Baking Soda
Temove dead skin, reduces foot odor, and soothes tired feet.
Table Salt
Table salt has osmotic properties that can help draw excess moisture out of your skin. If you’re dealing with sweaty feet, a table salt foot soak might help in reducing moisture-related foot issues
Vinegar
Softens skin, and help remove dead dry skin. Vinegar helps kill bacteria which reduces foot odor.
Lemon
Has antimicrobial and astringent properties that can help remove dead skin cells. It also smells really good.
Orange

Green Tea
Good for foot odor.
Coffee
